How to Apply

In order to apply for the 2023 ISRA you must:

• Be enrolled as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in high school during the 2022-2023 school year.
• Ask one of your high school teachers to complete an Online 2023 ISRA Reference Form.
• Your completed 2023 ISRA Application Form and 2023 ISRA Reference Form due by  May 5, 2023.  (This is not a postmarked date! May 5, 2023, is the date the application must be received to meet the initial deadline.)

You will receive an email confirmation once we receive your completed 2023 ISRA Application Form and 2023 ISRA Reference Form.

2023 ISRA Research Experiences, June 26th – June 30th, 2023

Admission

Review of applications and placement into ISRA research opportunities will begin May 5, 2023. These applicants selected for admittance to the 2023 ISRA will be notified by email by May 26, 2023.

Applications received after the initial May 5, 2023, the deadline will be reviewed for admittance on a case-by-case basis, as space is available. Late applicants (i.e., those received after the initial May 5, 2023, deadline) selected for admittance to the 2023 ISRA will be notified by email approximately 1-2 week after their application is received.

No applications will be accepted after May 19, 2023!

All applicants selected for admittance to the 2023 ISRA will receive a packet of forms (e.g., parental consent form, waiver of liability form, medical form, acceptable behavior form, etc.) with their official printed letter of admittance sent to the home address provided on their application form. These forms must be completed and returned to the address listed on the forms along with the required payment by June 9, 2023; otherwise, your space in the 2023 ISRA will be forfeited.
